MBAW

Multiple Birth Awareness Week (MBAW)  was held from Sunday 17th to Sunday 24th March 2023. The MBAW theme, 'Multiples unfiltered', was chosen following consultation with parents of multiples from all around Australia.

In November 2022, AMBA launched a report 'Equality of Support for Parents of Multiples' which clearly demonstrated that parents of multiples need more financial and hands-on support. On Monday 20th March 2023 AMBA released a report highlighting the inequalities faced by families and hosted a playgroup at Parliament House raising awareness of the unique challenges faced by multiple birth families and the support required by the government to allow families to thrive not just survive.
